With this new release, older versions of Recreatex have been put in End Of Life status: All versions of Recreatex 6.4.x.
The current version support situation is:
Full Support: Recreatex 7.4.0 and higher
Minimal Support: Recreatex 7.1.0, 7.2.0 and 7.3.0
End Of Life: All versions lower than Recreatex 7.1.0 and versions 7.3.1.x and 7.3.2.x

Important reminders:
As of 14th January 2020 Microsoft has stopped support for Windows 7. We recommend upgrading your systems to Windows 10. To accommodate customers who have not updated yet, Gantner will continue to support Windows 7 (SP1) until the end of 2020. After that time, you will be required to update to a newer version.
Microsoft has stopped supporting Office 2003 and Office 2007. We recommend that you update to a newer version. Even though Office 2010 will still be supported by Microsoft until 13th October 2020, we recommend that you upgrade to Office 2016, which will be supported by Microsoft until 14th October 2025.
From version 7.1.0 onwards, Recreatex requires .NET 4.7.2. We recommend that you update your systems accordingly.
The minimum requirement for SQL Server software is now SQL Server 2016. In order to ensure optimum performance, stability, functionality and security, we have updated our minimum and recommended requirements for the SQL Server software. If you have not done so already, we recommend that you update to SQL Server 2016 or higher in order to run newer versions of Recreatex.

POS improvements
Quick table selection
To be able to switch between tables more quickly and more easily, we have added a setting to Recreatex. Go to General > Basic data > Employees > Employees and select the employee for whom you want to activate this setting. Go to tab Cashier data > sub-tab Authorisation > sub-tab POS. There you will find the setting Allow fast table switch. Click Save and close.
In the POS menu it will now be easy to quickly change table number. Simply tap in the table info section, enter the desired table number in the pop-up window and tap OK. This will result to an instant switch to the desired table.
In the extra functions menu of the POS, a button has been added to quickly switch tables. This button can also be placed on the POS menu.
Show sales overview on the table plan
We added a setting that enables the cashier to quickly get a sales overview per table on the table plan. Go to Sales > Settings > Points of sales and select the POS you want to modify.
On the POS table overview, select the employee (1), select the table (2) and on the right you will see the overview for the selected table (3). Here you will also see one or more time stamps of every time the table was viewed or items were sold.
Split payment amount or advance payment on table transaction
In a bar or restaurant it often happens that one guest at a table needs to leave earlier. This guest then wants to pay his share of the bill, while the other guests carry on with their meal. This can be an exact amount or a round amount. We have added a parameter to make this possible. Go to POS > Parameters > tab POS sales and you will find a new parameter called Advance article. Click the (...) button and select or create a suitable registration article. Click Save and close.
Select the table for which the guest wants to pay an advance and tap the payment button.
Now you have the choice between (1) paying for specific articles on the table (select and move them with the arrows) or (2) to pay a round amount by tapping the Pay an advance button to the top right.
Upon tapping the Pay an advance button a pop-up window appears where you can enter the amount of the advance. Tap OK and proceed to payment.
After successful payment, the advance payment will appear in the list as a minus amount.
Summarize ticket info in the modern POS layout
When using the modern POS layout, it is now possible to slightly customize the way the exhibition ticket info is displayed in the POS basket. This way the POS basket becomes more structured and easier to read. Go to Sales > Settings > Points of sale and open the POS that you want to modify and make sure it is using the modern POS layout (tab Various). Next, go to the tab Exhibitions. The new setting Exhibition list item layout has been added with four options to choose from.
The four options in the Exhibition list item layout are:

Change the age limit for fiscal certificates
It is now possible to change the age limit for fiscal certificates. Previously these age limits were hard-coded into Recreatex, but with possible future changes in mind, we needed to make this editable.
Go to Registrations > Parameters > tab Activities where you will find the new age limit parameters.
Go to Extras > Childcare > Parameters > tab Registrations where you will find the new age limit parameters.
