F&B Solutions

  • The F&B Manager and Vintia Order Kiosk have been upgraded to .NET 10. Customers running these applications in an on‑premise environment will need an updated hosting environment to run version 2026.01 and later.

Common features: Vintia Order Kiosk and Vintia Order App

  • Added a new setting Hide descriptions on cards (F&B Manager), that controls how product names and detailed information are shown on product tiles. When enabled, detailed descriptions are hidden, allowing longer product names to be displayed in full on the product tile.

  • New placeholder image

    • Articles (products): If no product image is configured at the article level, a new default placeholder image will be displayed on the kiosk and app in the article list, article detail, and basket pages.

    • Subcategories (product category carousel): If no image is configured at the subcategory level, the kiosk shows a placeholder image, while the app displays only the category name without the placeholder image.

  • In addition to displaying allergens on product tiles, an allergen filter is now available on the kiosk and in the app, allowing customers to identify suitable products easily.

  • The Google Tag Manager (GTM) integration allows you to receive predefined product interaction events in your own GTM container for reporting and optimisation purposes. The integration is designed to be GDPR compliant and only forwards anonymous, non-personal data, while preventing the use of cookies or user-identifying tracking technologies.

  • Additional accessibility improvements for screen readers across the kiosk and app, including clearer labels, translations, and more consistent screen behaviour.

Vintia Order Kiosk

  • The language selection buttons on the kiosk landing page and the language dropdown now display only the language names, without country flags, to emphasise the language choice rather than the country.

Vintia Order App

  • Email address format validation has been added to email fields on the account and basket pages.

  • We have improved how the app manages personal data and session preferences for both guest and signed‑in customers.

    • Guest ordering: The Remember me option has moved to the Info tab in the basket. When enabled, previously entered details are automatically filled in for future orders.

    • Signed‑in customers: Personal details are prefilled in the Info tab and can be adjusted in the app without changing account information in Recreatex. These adjustments can be saved in the app using the Remember changes options.

    • Login & session behaviour: The login screen now shows only essential fields (first name, last name, and card number) with clear Log in and Log out actions. With the option Keep me signed in enabled, customers stay logged in for 24 hours after checkout. Otherwise, they are logged out immediately after checkout or after 10 minutes of inactivity.

F&B Manager

  • We have added setting changes logging and reorganised the Logs page into two separate tabs, Setting changes and Exceptions, bringing the overviews of configuration updates and error events together in one place for efficient monitoring and troubleshooting across applications.

  • The translations section has been redesigned to improve usability:

    • Manual key input has been replaced by a dropdown list with integrated search functionality.

    • The default translation is now shown automatically as a placeholder.

    • The field order is more intuitive.
