Prerequisites

  1. Module SMS (license 211) activated

    • The new module will appear in your Recreatex main toolbar

  2. SydAdmin plugin configured: SMSNotificationPlugin

    • This plugin handles the message queue, sending messages to and receiving feedback from the 3rd party SMS service (Spryng).

  3. SydAdmin plugin: ScheduledSmsEngine

    • Only needed for Dynamic type of SMS messages

    • The plugin is activated in SydAdmin but the configuration is conveniently done in Recreatex.

    • At scheduled intervals, the plugin generates SMS messages by combining the SMS template with additional information retrieved from the custom Dynamic view.

  4. Other relevant Recreatex modules or applications, such as Sales admin, Timeslot ticketing, QR ordering app, to enable SMS notifications for organized exhibition visits or orders originating from a point of sale (e.g. QR ordering app).
