Copy

It is always possible to copy a chosen activity. Copying an activity can for example be useful if you want to create a new activity that is very similar to an already existing activity, or if a certain activity from the past will be organised again. In case an activity is copied, all activity data are copied to the new activity and you will be able to copy the registered participants as well.

If you click on inschr_beh_0064b.png the system will first check if participants and/or employees are already linked to the activity. If this is the case, a message will appear allowing you to choose if you also want to copy these participants/employees to the new activity.

Afterwards, the current activity is effectively (without further message) copied and immediately opened.

You will notice that the code of the created copy is modified and that an asterisk (*) will appear after the activity description. The automatic modification of the activity code is necessary because certain data (such as activity codes) may not appear twice in the database. Adding the asterisk is only done to indicate that this specific activity is a copy.

After copying the activity, you can make the necessary modifications and once you save it the new activity will be saved as such.

Note

If you copy an activity, we advise you to modify the data on the copy as soon as possible to avoid double activities in the system.
