Shortkey overview

In Recreatex software, you can execute all functions using the mouse. There are, however, many framework actions that can also be executed using the keyboard shortkeys.

Some of these shortkeys are mentioned, wherever applicable, in other topics of this manual. Below, you can find a useful overview of all shortkeys that can be used within Recreatex.

F2

Add a new item (in an overview as well as in an input field with a linked list).

F3

Open the details of the current item (in an overview as well as in an input field with a linked list).

F4

In an overview window: search in the current overview.

In an input window: open the linked list of the input field with a linked list or open the contents of the linked list.

F5

Refresh the current overview while saving the current filter.

Shift+F5

Refresh the current overview completely.

F6

Zoom in on an input field (for example when the text is not fully visible due to a limited field size).

F9

In an overview window: call up the window Screen management.

If you select a tab title (double-click on the title of the tab): translate the text.

Shift+F9

Sort the current overview.

F11

Print the current overview.

F12

Export the current overview.

ESC

Quit the current overview.

ENTER

In an overview window: open the details of the selected item or confirm the selected item.

In an input window: execute the currently activated button (e.g. Save).

The use of the <ENTER> key has some specific exceptions (for example in the module Registrations). Each of these exceptions is described in the related manual.

Ctrl+ENTER

Add a new text line in a field for remarks. Pressing only the <ENTER> key in a remark field would in fact lead to saving the currently filled-in data.

TAB

Move the cursor to the following field.

Shift+TAB

Move the cursor to the previous field.

Ctrl+TAB

Switch between the currently opened windows in Recreatex.

Ctrl+ "+"

Maximise the columns of the current overview.

*

In an overview window: maximise all grouped lists of the current overview.

In an input field: use a wildcard for an input field with a linked list (see Use a wildcard).

Shift + *

Minimise all grouped lists of the current overview.

t + TAB

Fill in the current date (today) in a calendar field.

This can also be done by typing the letter t, followed by a mouse click outside the calendar field.

ALT + character

Shortkey combination for a specific button where a character is underlined, for example:

en_framework_0096.bmp

Alt+s

en_werkn_0176.bmp

Alt+d
