POS - Use

Introduction

The POS module is an integrated entity that contains catering sales, sales and management of membership cards, tickets, swimming lessons and the course management tool in a very user-friendly and well-organised way, so that POS sales run extremely efficiently and fast.

This manual describes the specific use of the Recreatex POS module.

  • You will learn how to register separate sales and sales based on a table plan.

  • You will learn how to sell and manage membership cards.

  • You will learn how to register bookings, sales and costs for and from other modules, such as Ticketing, Registrations, Facility bookings, Exhibitions, Invoicing and Letting.

Note

  • The subjects in this manual are limited to the user functionalities of the Recreatex POS module. Visualisations, reports, settings and parameters are consequently not discussed in this manual but in the manual 'POS - Management'.

  • The Recreatex POS module can be integrated with many other Recreatex modules. In this manual, these integrations are discussed per chapter. For detailed information on the basic principles and the back office functionalities of these modules, however, we refer to the respective manual of the module itself.

  • The possibility to use many of the buttons and functions mentioned may depend on certain parameters, employee authorization, point of sale settings and the type of sale that is registered. Because of the many combinations of parameters and settings, it is impossible to discuss each possible scenario in this manual.
