With this new release, older versions of Recreatex have been put in End Of Life status: All versions of Recreatex 6.4.x.
The current version support situation is:
Full Support: Recreatex 7.4.0 and higher
Minimal Support: Recreatex 7.1.0, 7.2.0 and 7.3.0
End Of Life: All versions lower than Recreatex 7.1.0 and versions 7.3.1.x and 7.3.2.x

Important reminders:
As of 14th January 2020 Microsoft has stopped support for Windows 7. We recommend upgrading your systems to Windows 10. To accommodate customers who have not updated yet, Gantner will continue to support Windows 7 (SP1) until the end of 2020. After that time, you will be required to update to a newer version.
Microsoft has stopped supporting Office 2003 and Office 2007. We recommend that you update to a newer version. Even though Office 2010 will still be supported by Microsoft until 13th October 2020, we recommend that you upgrade to Office 2016, which will be supported by Microsoft until 14th October 2025.
From version 7.1.0 onwards, Recreatex requires .NET 4.7.2. We recommend that you update your systems accordingly.
The minimum requirement for SQL Server software is now SQL Server 2016. In order to ensure optimum performance, stability, functionality and security, we have updated our minimum and recommended requirements for the SQL Server software. If you have not done so already, we recommend that you update to SQL Server 2016 or higher in order to run newer versions of Recreatex.

Improvements exhibitions
Exhibitions images on POS
We have added the option to display the images for exhibitions and exhibition tickets on the POS. A new parameter has been added to the Point of sale configuration. Go to Sales > Settings > Points of sale and open the POS you want to modify. Go to the tab Various where you will find the setting Show exposition image. This will work on both the classic and the modern POS layout.
Caution
In order for the image to show up on the POS you have to make sure you have configured an image for the exhibition (or the exhibition article).
Membership session deduction
When using timeslot tickets that are linked to a mandatory membership, the main membership can now also be devaluated. A new parameter has been added on exhibition level. Go to Exhibitions > Exhibitions > tab Membership and look for the checkbox Deduct session on visit.
Note
An example of a typical case where this could be useful:
A swimming pool is selling turn cards e.g. 10 turns cards. Because of Covid-19 customers have to reserve a timeslot using the exhibition module. Inside the exhibition configuration a mandatory membership (the 10 turns card) will be linked. In this case users which have the 10 turns card can buy free exhibition tickets. After buying those tickets, normal exhibition entry tickets are created. When entering the swimming pool the entry ticket will be deducted, and with the new setting, the 10 turns card (mandatory membership) will also be deducted, so the user will only have 9 sessions left.
Configure the entry ticket article:
On the article card go to the tab Membership > sub-tab General and enable the setting Automatically create card number. Make sure the setting Accumulate membership types is off.
On the tab Types enable the setting Membership article.
On the tab Subscr. validity set the Number of sessions to 1.
Configure the exhibition:
Make sure that you are using articles as price and that your entry ticket article is linked on the tab Prices. On the tab Membership (selected memberships) make sure that your configured turns card is linked and enable the new setting Deduct session on visit. This checkbox will only appear if your exhibition is configured to use items as price.
Limit on advance tickets
It is now possible to limit the number of tickets that can be booked in advance for one membership. This prevents customers from reserving a lot of future time slots and then not show up. On the exhibition level, we have added a new setting on the tab Membership: Max periods to reserve. When you enter a value 0, no maximum will be applied and the customer has no limit on the number of reservations.
On the web shop, the customer will see the following error message if the number of allowed periods to reserve is exceeded.
Moment of membership validation
It is now possible to check the validity of the membership on the visit date of the ticket. When a customer reserves a visit based on a membership, then the membership is validated. The moment of validation is now configurable. This validation moment can either be at the moment of reservation (default up to now) or at the moment of the visit. On the exhibition level, go to the tab Membership (selected memberships) and you will find a new column: Time of validation check. This contains a dropdown with two options: on reservation date or on visit date.
Move visits with price differences
It is now possible for the web shop customer to move exhibition visits with price differences. You can choose to charge or not to charge the price difference. In order not to charge the price difference you need to have the corresponding parameter enabled in the Exhibition parameters. Go to Exhibitions > Parameters > tab Pre-invoicing and enable and configure the parameter Allow not to charge price differences to the customer in case of transfer.
Sort exhibitions
We have added the possibility to sort the order of appearance on the web shop of exhibitions and exhibition tickets. Go to Sales > Settings > Points of sale and open the POS that you use for your web shop. Go to the tab Relevances > sub-tab Exhibitions. In this window it is possible to define the relevance of the exhibitions and exhibition tickets.
In the web shop manager a sorting option has been added for these relevances to work. Go to the tab Exhibitions > Overview settings > Default sorting and select Relevance in the dropdown box.
Improvements Digital wallet
Discounts with Digital wallet
It is now possible to configure discounted prices on articles when paying with a digital wallet. This can be done with a new configurable price group on the digital wallet settings on the digital wallet article. Go to General > Basic data > Articles > Articles and open your Digital wallet article. Go to the tab Types, make sure the setting Digital wallet is enabled and configure a Discount price group. When paying using the configured digital wallet, the discount price group will be applied to the articles in your basket. Click Save and exit.
Caution
The discount price group will only be applied to sales lines of type article. So normal horeca articles, entry tickets, ... are supported, but in the case of sales lines linked to exhibitions, activities, rentals, etc, the price will stay default and no discount will be applied.

It is advised to choose one of the two methods and not to combine the two because if not used carefully, you may run the risk of applying the discount twice.
Go to General > Basic data > Articles > Articles and open the details of the article(s) that you want to configure discount prices for. Go to the tab Selling prices and configure a new price linked to the configured digital wallet discount price group. Click Save and exit.
Go to General > Basic data > Customers > Settings > Price groups and open the configured digital wallet discount price group. Go to the tab Discounts where you can configure several discount settings. Click Save and exit.
Admission price on Digital wallet
It is now possible to immediately charge the purchase of the membership on the linked digital wallet (credit). To enable this, use the new setting Charge membership on wallet at purchase on membership article level. Go to the membership article you want to configure, tab Membership > tab Extra, section Digital wallet: a new setting Charge membership on wallet at purchase’ has been added. This setting is only available for items that have a linked digital wallet and where this linked digital wallet is used as a credit card. There should be a credit limit higher than 0 (zero). Click Save and exit.
Go to POS > Parameters > tab POS Sales and configure the new parameter Direct digital wallet payment method by entering a payment method that uses Digital wallet processing.
Add extra time to a visit
It is now possible to add extra time to a visit time limited membership, either manually with the new extra function or automatically by purchasing articles on the POS that have extra minutes for memberships configured. To make this possible, a new parameter has been added on General > Basic data > Articles > Articles, open the details of the article you want to set up to add extra minutes, go to > tab POS and near the bottom of the tab you will find the new parameter Add extra minutes to a membership. As default this is set to 0 = Disabled. Enter the desired amount of minutes and click Save and exit.
