Configure additional sales suggestions

To help customers discover relevant products and encourage additional purchases, Recreatex supports the following types of additional sales suggestions:

  1. Cross-selling suggestions: Displays products related to the articles in the basket.

  2. Additional suggestions: Displays a predefined sales list, regardless of the articles in the basket.

Suggestions screen

Additional sales suggestions are displayed in the following order of priority:

  • If one or more articles in the basket have cross-selling products configured, the suggestions screen displays the cross-selling products.

  • If the articles in the basket do not have cross-selling products configured, but an additional suggestions sales list is configured, the suggestions screen displays the sales list.

  • If neither cross-selling products nor additional suggestions are configured, the suggestions screen is not displayed.

The suggestions screen supports the following functionality and configuration options:

  • Position: The suggestions screen is displayed between the basket overview and the checkout screen.

  • Skip option: Customers can skip the suggestions screen and continue directly to checkout.

  • Conversion tracking: Additional suggestions and cross-selling suggestions can be tracked through dedicated conversion events.

  • Screen title: Kiosk translations (F&B Manager) include two translation keys for the suggestions screen title, allowing different screen titles to be used for cross-selling suggestions and additional suggestions.

    • fnbKiosk.crossSellingSuggestions

    • fnbKiosk.additionalSuggestions

Cross-selling suggestions
  • Duplicate suggestions: If the same cross-selling article is linked to multiple sales articles in the basket, it is displayed only once.

  • Existing basket items: Articles already present in the basket are not displayed as suggestions

Cross-selling suggestions & Additional suggestions

Articles displayed as suggestions behave the same way as regular sales articles. The following Recreatex article configuration is taken into account:

  • Availability:

    • Articles set as unavailable manually are not displayed.

    • Articles in subcategories where scheduled availability is configured are available only within the configured schedule.

  • Stock management: Stock rules apply to articles configured as stock articles.

  • Article options: If an article has options configured, the option selection screen opens when the article is selected.

  • Allergens:

    • Applicable allergen icons are displayed on the article card.

    • Articles that do not match the active allergen filter are marked accordingly.

  • Membership discounts: If a membership card has been scanned, available discounts are applied to the displayed prices.

  • Accessibility: Accessibility features, including support for ATD devices and screen readers, are available.
