Renewals
Under the tab Renewals, you can define all settings in the function of membership renewals.

In the sections Lesson group or waiting list, Multiple sessions pass and Other membership types you can define how the period renewal has to be executed and/or if the remaining sessions have to be overwritten or not.
Renewal as of end date | In case of renewal, the end date of the membership item is modified to end date + number of days/weeks/months renewed. |
Renewal as of current date | In case of renewal, the end date of the membership item is modified to current date + number of days/weeks/months renewed. |
Renewal as of highest date | In case of renewal, the end date of the membership item is compared to the current date and the end date of the membership item will be modified to the highest date + number of days/weeks/months renewed. For example: if the end date of the membership item is 28-05-2011 and if the current date is 05-06-2011, the end date of the membership item will be changed into 05-06-2011 + number of days/weeks/months renewed. |
Overwrite sessions | If this setting is ticked off, the number of remaining sessions will expire in case of renewal of a multiple sessions card and will be overwritten with the new number of sessions bought. For example: if a 10 sessions card to be renewed still holds 2 sessions, the number of sessions will be changed into 10 at renewal. |
Only if period is expired | If this setting is ticked off, the remaining number of sessions will only be overwritten if the membership period is expired at the moment of renewal. For example: if a 10 sessions card to be renewed still holds 2 sessions and if the end date is 01-06-2011, the number of sessions will be changed into 12 in case of renewal on 25-05-2011 (period not yet expired). In case of a renewal on 05-06-2011 (period expired), the remaining number of (expired) sessions will be overwritten and changed into 10. |
In the section OGM number, you can define the OGM mode and OGM series of numbers to be respected in case of renewal propositions (see manual 'Renewal propositions').
