Menu options

The side menu allows navigating to different functions of the mStock application. Swipe from the left of the screen towards the right to slide out the app menu. Alternatively, you can tap mstock_clip0004.png in the upper-left corner of a screen to access the menu options.

This option allows you to consult the mStock application’s version and GANTNER's contact information.

Help

The Help section offers a quick overview of how to use the mStock application.

Log out

This option allows the user to log out of the mStock application.

Preferences

Language

It is possible to define the language of the app as English, Dutch, French or German.

The default language is English.

Dim display after

It is possible to define for how long a screen is idle before the display brightness level of the device reduces automatically. This can be useful to extend the device's battery life.

Tap on the device screen to resume the current brightness level.

Sound

If activated, you will hear sound at the time of scanning.

Note

When using the parameter Sound, ensure that the volume settings of your device is not set to mute.

Vibrate

If this option is activated, the device will vibrate at the time of scanning.

General

App tracing

If activated, the app generates a log file of all the operations carried out on the mStock app.

The app log file is stored on the file system of the device. It is possible to consult the app log files from the location <Path where the mStock app is stored>/mStock/EventLogs.

The log files are listed date-wise, with the most recent one at the top.

Warning

Activating app tracing can reduce overall app performance. It is recommended to deactivate this setting when you are done with app logging.

To stop app logging, deactivate this setting.

Configuration settings

Webservice URL and Webshop ID

It is possible to view or change the Webservice URL, Webservice password and Webshop ID of the mStock app. See further, Configuring the mStock appConfiguring the mStock app
