Important

For a cloud setup (ASP/Citrix) you need a minimum bandwidth of 1mbps. We advise a minimum of 128kbps per user and 100 ms max latency, to support up to 8 users on a 1mbps bandwidth.

POS client

Important

Some newer middleware versions, e.g., Citrix Receiver or .NET Framework, are not compatible with Windows IoT for Enterprise 2015 LTSB. HP released an upgrade, Field Upgrade Kit 2019, to allow upgrading the Windows IoT for Enterprise 2015 LTSB or 2016 LTSB to the latest available 2019 LTSC. This Field Upgrade Kit is available for RP9 AiO, RP5810, and Engage One. For POS systems ordered as of today, the computer system is provided with 2019 LTSC by default.
